Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager which can be located in Dallas at the corporate office or in La Porte at our Austin Industrial division office.
The Employee Relations Manager works under the direction of the Vice President of People at Austin Industries, Inc. (“Austin Industries”) and a dotted line relationship to Legal Employee Relations, to coordinate and direct employee relations programs and activities for Austin Industries and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Austin”) to ensure that Austin is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, the position works closely with the Director of People at each subsidiary of Austin Industries (Austin Commercial, Austin Bridge & Road, and Austin Industrial) in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing Human Resources (“HR”) policies, practices, procedures, programs, and activities that have a positive impact on employee relations. The Employee Relations Manager also serves as an Open Door Facilitator for the Austin Open Door program.
