    Austin Commercial is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to be located at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas.  We excel at what we do and are looking for talented professionals that want to excel with us. 


    The marketing assistant is responsible for assisting the Marketing Department in the development and production of proposals, qualifications, and presentations.  Additional duties include other administrative roles that help with productivity and efficiency of department (including ordering supplies, filing, preparation of various marketing reports, resumes, etc.).


    • Assist marketing department in company’s qualifications/proposal submission efforts.
    • Marketing Database (Cosential) / CRM Administration, Management and Training:  custom reports, knowledge management, policies and procedures.(refer to notes from above)
    • Responsible for the printing and production of company or market segment pieces.
    • Responsible for the printing and production of industry award submittals as necessary to further promote company achievements and gain additional industry recognition.
    • Produces and digitally files marketing information– resumes, experience listings, AIA 305, and project descriptions.
    • Responsible for the production and digital filing of a wide variety of material used in marketing/business development activity such as graphics, printed brochures and other publications, digital images, displays, etc.
    • Assist at company special events (i.e. Open Houses, project tours, etc.).
    • Other administrative duties as required (typing, filing, copying, scanning, expense report preparation, supply ordering, cutting custom marketing pieces to specific sizes, binding of proposals, etc.).


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field such as Communications or Journalism
    • 0-2+ years’ of marketing experience or related fields (journalism, communications)
    • Has collegiate-level experience in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and capable of creating basic design, layout, and editing.
    • Some understanding working within a database
    • Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Must be able work flexible hours as needed or required by project or proposal deadlines
    • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Work independently and as part of a team
    • Occasional travel
