    Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor for projects in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.  Our Field Service Supervisor's "home" will be based at our equipment yard located in Waxahachie, Texas, however they will travel to various project sites across North Texas as needed. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.


    This position is to provide overall direction and control of the day-to-day operations of construction equipment maintenance. The supervisor supports all operations with prompt and cost effective repairs and maintenance to a wide variety of equipment.


    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Shop/Field Foreman
    • Equipment Technician
    • Fuel/Lube Technician
    • Administrative Support Personnel


    General Responsibilities

    • Manages and directs company equipment service operations
    • Manages the overall maintenance program
    • Manages, schedules, and dispatches resources and technicians in an efficient manner
    • Coordinates with department managers in the development and management of the service and repair schedule for all active jobs
    • Writing repair and maintenance estimates, ensuring that they are accurate, timely, and comprehensive.
    • Controls expenses, and the financial performance of the service department
    • Management of all Field Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Fuel Tickets and other documents required in the service operations
    • Manages key initiatives including the GPS (Global Positioning System) programs and the development and implementation of additional automated programs, as needed
    • Ensures that high standards for quality and customer service are achieved
    • Interfaces with the sales department in troubleshooting problem areas
    • Insure that all operational aspects of the jobs are conducted efficiently and in accordance with the client’s and company’s quality standards
    • Overall safety for everyone working in or visiting shop and field operations
    • Compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Recruitment and development of subordinates including training and certification of technicians
    • Additional duties as assigned

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five (5)+ years related mechanic experience and/or training plus supervisory experience
    • Mechanic experience on Grove, Manitowoc, Link Belt and Terex cranes is a plus.
    • Experience with Asphalt Heavy Equipment (Milling Machine, Power Broom, Box Blade, Shuttle Buggy, Pneumatic Roller, Asphalt Screed, Concrete Paving Equipment) is a plus
    • Must be able to travel to various job sites throughout the North Texas area
    • For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English
