Our team is currently looking for a People Services (HR) Administrator to join the team at our corporate office located in Dallas, Texas.

     

    The People Services (HR) Administrator is responsible for processing several administrative transactions and acts as a liaison between employees and other internal departments such as Payroll, Benefits, and Human Resources.  This position provides administrative support thru communication, correspondence, record keeping, file maintenance, data entry, etc. This position also ensures that employees’ concerns are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.   

    Responsibilities

    • Processing employment and income verifications for various entities in a timely manner
    • Reviewing, approving, and distributing various Personnel Action Requests (PARs)
    • Responding to unemployment claims
    • Answering employee questions and making sure concerns have been resolved
    • Processing of various invoices, check requests and other reimbursements
    • Assisting with additional administrative processes related to HR
    • Facilitating resolutions by coordinating requests with appropriate contact
    • Serving as a point of contact for human resources, payroll, and benefits departments
    • Updating and entering data into the HR system and/or other tracking systems
    • Compiling data and preparing various reports on a recurring basis (weekly/monthly/annually)
    • Assist with onboarding process, pre-screenings, equipment requests, personnel file, etc.
    • Assist with FMLA administration and other leaves, as well as disability claims
    • Responding to inquiries such as Sick pay and PTO balances
    • Assist with processing of various monthly or annual administrative processes
    • Monitor the People Services email account as well as the department hotline
    • Serve as backup and perform other duties as assigned
    • Preparing workplace injury reports as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum two years of college
    • 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources / Benefits or general office administration
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Must have excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
    • Must have strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
    • Must have strong ability to investigate and authenticate information thru research
    • Must have strong organizational skills and work under minimum supervision
    • Must be willing to perform a wide variety of administrative transactions
    • Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned
    • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities
    • Must be able to identify issues and assist with finding resolution
    • Experience working in construction industry a plus
    • Able to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including field offices
    • Experience with data entry, including 10-key by touch
    • Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred
    • Ability to work 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday
