    Austin Industrial is a leading General Contractor that provides construction, maintenance, turnaround, and plant services within the oil, gas, chemical, power, and manufacturing industries.  We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Analyst.   

     

    This position is considered the subject matter expert in the development and application of maintenance operations workflow processes. The maintenance analyst supports key operational businesses through management of key performance indicators, and development of strategic plans to achieve world class performance of the Austin Industrial Maintenance operation.

     

    This position is based in our corporate office in La Porte, TX.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    This role will interact with key customer and Austin leaders to report on business performance, and progress on implementation plans for improvement. Business critical programs will be monitored by the maintenance analyst, and accountable to ensure tools and processes are managed accordingly to bring continuous improvement toward operational excellence.

     

    • Oversees the application of the AIMMS (Austin Industrial Maintenance Management System), reporting, analysis and metrics management for key US customers.
    • Measures the effectiveness of the Austin opportunity for improvement (OFI) program, reporting to the Director of Maintenance Operations.
    • Manages the reporting of the VAI initiatives, and provides leadership to establish continuous improvement.
    • Monitors the Planner Feedback and Work Order delay administration, and leads the development of improvement strategies for key operations.
    • Key leader in the administration of the Helper and Craft Progression programs. Owner of the corporate procedure and reports on progress.
    • Supports site managers in the development of periodic customer performance reviews, providing key data trends and improvement plans.
    • Supports the financial review process for operational managers, supporting the process to equate metrics to dollars saved / value generation.
    • Assist with assimilation of data from AIMMS, CARE, OFI, VAI and other internal systems to support performance dashboard views.
    • Support Overtime reporting, analysis and metrics management.
    • Interface with Site and Corporate operations to ensure consistency in utilization of AIMMS, OFI, VAI and other operational systems/processes.
    • Supports the maintenance operations leadership with revenue and margin projections based on data analysis.
    • This position will require 25% travel to domestic operations.

     

    Qualifications

    • 10 years of industry maintenance & reliability experience in a related function or applicable education
      • Or 5 years of applicable experience and a BS preferably in an engineering discipline: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Maintenance

    • Applicable Maintenance/Reliability certification (e.g. CMRT)
    • High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite
    • Technically knowledgeable in the areas of industrial processing
    • Very strong interpersonal communication
    • Highly organized
    • Basic understanding of CMMS functionality, preferably relevant user experience in SAP and/or Maximo
    • Functional knowledge of industrial maintenance operation – WMP – within the petrochemical market (large operators)
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Leadership / management experience in related field
    • Demonstrated competency in procedure development
