  • Overview

    PURPOSE

     

    To support the daily functions and administrative needs for Industrial Projects, assisting the Project Superintendent with the specific job tasks detailed herein and additional support opportunities as needed.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    The primary responsibility is to assist with day-to-day administrative duties. This includes a variety of tasks such as time-keeping, entering payroll, customer invoicing, and processing daily cost updates to customer’s Purchasing department.

                                                                                                               

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

     

    1. Maintains payroll and customer invoicing information by collecting, calculating, and entering data using accounting software.
    2. Collecting and verifying timekeeping information for employees.
    3. Resolves payroll and customer invoicing discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
    4. Provides payroll information to employees by answering questions and requests.
    5. Maintains payroll and customer invoicing operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
    6. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll and customer invoicing operations by keeping information confidential.
    7. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    8. Processes daily cost updates to customer’s Purchasing department.
    9. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    1. Minimum high school diploma; prefer Associates Degree.
    2. Minimum of two years bookkeeping or clerical accounting experience.
    3. Knowledge of accounts payable and invoicing procedures.
    4. Excellent organizational, computer, and mathematical skills.
    5. Excellent interpersonal skills, time management and problem solving skills.
    6. Attention to detail, accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
    7. Self-motivated and trustworthy.
    8. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time.
    9. Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
    10. Be able to lift 25 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required.

    Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, criminal background check, and local safety classes.
